2019 Fall Dzogchen Meditation Series with Douglas Veenhof

2019 Fall Dzogchen Meditation Series with Douglas Veenhof

Join us for this series of four Wednesday evenings exploring techniques for

recognizing directly the luminous and spacious nature of the mind.

Drawing from Tibetan Buddhism’s most esteemed meditation traditions, Dzogchen and Mahamudra, Doug Veenhof will continue his presentation of practices for developing the single pointedness of shamatha and the liberating insight of vipashyana.

This series will include some new wrinkles on the fusion of shamatha and vipashyana based on the sixteenth century Mahamudra text, Pointing Out the Dharmakaya. The practices emphasize closely observing the mind and asking penetrating questions about your experience. This direct approach can power transformational insights into the relationship of mind, body, and the external world.
